Summer Winds Down With More Work To Do

Been a good summer.  I got to work sound for a couple Corb Lund show, opened for Three Doors Down at the Prince George CN Centre and also go to hit the stage right as Gord Downie and the Sadies were getting done at Wild Mountain Music Fest in Hinton Alberta.

On top of all that we had a crazy Artswells Festival here in my town complete with my hammered band falling down on stage and Karl Mattson’s 20ft tall welded womans head on fire in front of my house.  Hootstock was amazing.  Got to spend three weekends in a row with my favorite BC punk band ever, my friends the Rebel Spell and still have a couple festivals to go before we can actually rest.

In September and October I’ll be doing a series of solo shows in PG and Dawson Creek…including two Stompin Tom Connors tributes.  Stay tuned here, check out the shows page as well.  We’re a busy bunch these days, busy enough I been able to not work a real job with any consistency since March.  I would like to keep it that way!  The big thing on the horizon this fall is recording a long overdue Outlaw Band album.  Will keep you all posted!

In the meantime….plan to come to Music On the Mountain in Fort St.James in 12 days…it’s always a highlight of our summers!  Cheers!
